AI-Mediabox is built on Immich, an open-source platform for managing photos and videos. Stable since late 2025, with apps for iOS and Android, AI-powered search, face recognition, map view and multi-user support. No dependence on any single vendor.
AI-Mediabox uses a CLIP model that runs directly on your server. Images are analyzed on upload. Then you search in free text, for example “product on white background” or “behind the scenes in the studio.” No image is sent to external servers.
No. Unlike Google Photos or iCloud, there's no automatic content scanning. You decide what goes on your server. No blocking, no flagging, no scanning by third parties.
Yes. Export your data with Google Takeout and upload it to AI-Mediabox. EXIF data is read correctly. Date, location and original file name are preserved.
Yes, unlimited users. Each one gets their own library. As admin, you control who has access and how much storage each person can use. Ideal for agency clients or supporters.
Yes. Since you have your own Linux server, other software can be installed on it too. Talk to us. We'll advise you and set it up.
